May’2006)
Team size - 3
Description
Cell
Data Table: CDT is a main data base table for our client, which
consist of all the sector names with its hard and soft parameters.
These parameters can be changed by TYPE I or TYPE II data.
Our
system consists of 6 binaries, DCM, PBM, PBE, SPE, OAM, OAMAGENT,
Call Manager, and Location Engine.
Our
system is configurable for three carriers (Dobson, Triton, RCC and
Edge) and two protocols (TDMA and GSM).
DCM
process is configured to look for the new Type1 and other optional
dumps after a configurable time period in the configurable FTPWatch
directory for Type I dumps and generates a new CDT and .html file.
The new generated CDT would incorporate the changes from the Type
dumps and .html while would display a report of the changes, which
are reported to PBM. DCM notifies the PBM with m_RFMapNeededICID and
m_PSDNeededICID.
My
role
·
My role in this project is to test the creation of CDT.
·
To test that all TYPE I and TYPE II values are updated
properly and within specified range.
·
Write shell script to automate whole process (Creation of
test bed - generation of report).
·
Test that CDT created by binaries are created and updated
properly.
·
My core work is to do system testing and validate that no
binary should fail at any extreme condition.
·
To check all the BVA conditions on all the parameters.
·
Complete analysis on requirement
document
·
Created Test Plan and Road map for all the juniors.
·
Identified test cases from use cases and requirement
document.
·
Created artificial TYPE I data for Dobson, Triton, RCC and
Edge and for both protocols (GSM and
TDMA)
·
I have created shell
script to automate the system
regression.
·
To execute script and generate report after every
release
·
To communicate with client and update QA status weekly.
·
